On October 28, 2023, Francis Ngannou, ‘The King of MMA’ stepped into the ring against undefeated heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, also known worldwide as the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King.’ Each man raised by a lineage of fighters, subjected to poverty and adversity, two kings made in their own right. So we portrayed them as such, shot by the legendary photographer Nick Knight with costume design by 3x Academy Award winner Sandy Powell, who custom made each fighter’s wardrobe, crowns, and body armor to tell their legacies.The imagery was used in all media leading up to the fight, as well as throughout press conferences and the arena, and across ESPN.

In 3D, we partnered with Nick Knight, SHOW studio, and GRIF studio to render our fighters as heroic statues, immortalized as kings in largescale virtual marble sculpture across the globe, even appearing on the Sphere.
